I wasn't sure if they did or not like the casinos. I am sure I could get back in, but whatever. When I go down there in April I am going with my family for my brothers spring break. I am only there for 4 days and one of them we are doing Hoover Dam, one of them my brother and I are going to a gun range where they will let us shoot automatic weapons, and the other two I will probably be sitting a poker tables or sports books all day. When I go back down in June for my birthday, its with a pretty crazy group of people so we will definitely be hitting up the strip clubs.

Shirt, you book a place yet for Vegas in April? Just got an email deal. Apparently Planet Hollywood just opened it's all-suite towers and is having a grand opening sale. For any Sunday-Thursday night, only $76 a night, said after April that will rise to $249 a night. Get a $50 American Express rewards card with 3 ore more night stay. And if you book air with it through bookit.com, 20% of 2-3 night stay, 25% off 4 or more night stay.
Not sure where it is, but the ad said it's right on the strip. Maybe brainded can let us know for sure.

PH is a one of my favorites on the strip. They are going for the young "hard rock" type feel at half the cost of hard rock.
Highly recommend.

The group I am going with stayed at PH last time in the fall. The girls all want to do Mirage this time since "it has the best pool." I said I would do it if we get a private cabana one of the days since it has your own area to swim topless.
Mirage is pretty expensive, but whatever...for 3 nights it wont kill me to pay a little more. I would rather gamble that money or spend it at the bars/clubs/strip clubs though.
I would definitely recommend PH from when I was there. Good rooms and great location, especially for the price.

When I go with my family in 3 weeks we are staying at Paris. Not super excited but its a place to stay and free for me. I will probably just go sit in the MGM poker room all day anyway when I am not out at Hoover Damn or at the firing range.

It's in the running for best pools.. All of them are adding upscale "European" pools these days. Hard Rock Mandalay Bay Tropicana My favs..

Are any of those on the strip? I know Hard Rock isn't so thats out. For some reason I think Tropicana is old, so I am guessing the rooms aren't too nice. I assume Mandalay and Tropicana are both on the strip though...Tropicana probably on Tropicana Ave.
Have you been to all these pools? PH's wasn't anything special. It was fun, lots of booze, lots of girls, music...but really nothing special.

Yes, I have been to them.. We sneak in to all the pools every summer. Many of my wifes friends do cabana hosting or bottle service in the summer and collect unemployment in the winter. Trop = old / cheap / College Drunk Fun / beer pong / black jack in the water. (south strip - 4 corners) Bay = Huge, lazy river, topless area, about 4 pools in total / chicks in your range. (Extreme south strip) pricey. Those, outside of the hard rock, are the best pools in town IMO.

I will suggest Mandalay Bay after looking at prices if you think the pool is better than Mirage. One of the chicks said she heard Mirage was the best one, but she could be full of shit. I just wanna lay in a lazy river recovering during the day. Last year one of the girls was feeding me frozen grapes. Besides how bad the hangover felt it was pretty awesome.

Actually looking at the location Mandalay Bay might not work so well. I like being able to go to the different poker rooms and at night we will want to go to the clubs in the middle of the strip. I don't think anyone will want to walk that far. I have been to the Luxor and remember it was quite a walk...Mandalay must be even worse.

No,,, not walking distance.. But they have a tram to NYNY I believe. Really, IMO, no two casinos are within walking distance. From the time it takes to get out to the strip and then down the block and then down the path to the next casino.. 40 minutes. Mandalay bay is one of the best casinos in town for the price. You cant go wrong at the Mirage though.. If your #1 concern is pool.. Go with the Bay.. If its location, go with Mirage. As far as night clubs.. You must go to Pure @ ceasars... Hands down the most bad ass club in town.

One of the girls that goes with us knows "people" for a couple of the clubs. And because we will have more girls than guys it shouldn't be a problem. Last time we paid something like $50 a person for like 3 bottles and our own VIP table/model server at Tabu in the MGM. I think there were 10 of us and no waiting in the huge line or anything. We got pretty wrecked...good times.

Me? No...for Easter weekend with the family (brothers spring break), then in mid June for my birthday with a bunch of friends.
