BrewersCubs.com Policy:
The BrewersCubs.com Message Board was created to initiate free discussion on topics of interest to all participants.
We do not prescreen the messages posted through the Message Board, but BrewersCubs.com reserves the right to engage in such prescreening and/or monitoring, including without limitation, the right to edit, refuse to post, or remove any messages.
BrewersCubs.com shall have the right, but not the responsibility, to remove any message which is deemed in our sole discretion to be inappropriate. BrewersCubs.com may monitor this board from time to time and delete inappropriate material that comes to its attention as soon as it is practicable.
We will not censor legitimate views being expressed but explicit pornography, harassment, personal attacks or the promotion of hate will not be permitted.
In addition, users may not use the Message Board to publish, post, or disseminate any Message that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any third party. Do not post advertising on the message board.
BrewersCubs.com may elect, at its sole discretion, to monitor some, all, or no areas of the Message Board for adherence to these conditions.
The Rules
1. No hounding
Ex: Following DjWebb around the board and telling him he's gay all the time. Fun, but not allowed, keep it in one thread.
2. No personal attacks UNLESS the victim opened the door.
Ex: I tell Fan the brewers' rotation sucks, and he lights into me with a stream of irrelevant personal attacks UNLESS I opened the door to the personal attacks by saying I like to look at guys' butts or something and the subsequent personal attack involves me being a homo. But, the mods should consider the victim of the comment, and their personality a little bit when deciding whether to moderate. If fan lights into McClunger, he is a big boy and it might be allowed. If Fan lights into noobie77, it wont be tolerated.
3. No posting obvious misinformation/misstating the facts for the purpose of inciting a negative re-action.
Ex: Thread title “Hart Traded!!!” You open the thread and the rest says “His bats in for a new brand”
4. No Berking.
Ex: Don’t proclaim the obviously false as true. For example, Suppan is our Ace. If your opinion differs from the majority, feel free to argue your point. Just have a fucking point.
5. Anything goes in the Random Shit section other than NSFW material and extreme attacks.
Ex: “I want to rape your wife.”
6. Whatever the mods deem. If something comes up not covered by the rules, the mods have the authority to act accordingly. This means don’t try to weasel around the rules. If we don’t like it, it’s deleted. That simple.
Banning: Repeated violations of the 4 rules leads to bans, PURELY at the chief moderator's discretion, increasing in length if the lesson isn't learned.
Interpretation of the rules is entirely up to the mod team. Gripes will not be responded to publicly, the post will simply be deleted. If you must bitch, send a PM to Brainded.
The mod team:
1. The mod team will remain anonymous.
2. They have the option to edit or delete your post at their discretion.
3. If they want to they can notify you why a modification took place. They are in no way obligated to do so.
